Pre-requisites
For admission into our Career Programmes, students must have:
A high school diploma, college or university degree.

This superintendent approved qualifying online test provided by Wonderlic will determine your eligibility for admission into our Career Programmes.
After you notify Bonnie Gordon College staff that you would like to take the test, you will receive an email invitation to take a timed online test that will take approximately 30 minutes to complete from start to finish. The invitation email will provide you with further instructions including system requirements.
Once you begin the test you will not be able to pause or stop as this will result in an incomplete test. Upon completion of the test the school will contact you with the results.
How to Apply
1. Prior to receiving a registration package for the Confectionary Arts Diploma, Designer Cakes Certificate or Bakery Essentials Certificate, you must provide the school with the following:
- International Student Application for Admission Form (download here)
- Documentation verifying your successful completion of high school education. Diplomas must be translated to English if issued in another language.
- English programs or competencies such as TOEFL. If you have not completed an English program or cannot provide documentation for your English competencies you are required to complete an online basic English skills test provided by Wonderlic.
- Birth and citizenship verification

2. Registration Package
Once the school has received the Application for Admission form along with the above documentation, you will be sent a dated registration package for the appropriate programme.
3. Deposit
Please complete and return the application documents with a post-dated deposit of the amount indicated (this will be equal to one-quarter of the tuition fee plus the $100 non-refundable application processing fee). This deposit must be submitted with the registration package. The remainder of the fees are due on the first day of school.
4. Acceptance
Confectionary Arts Diploma Applicants - The school will schedule a telephone interview once all application documents have been received. After completing the telephone interview you will be notified of your acceptance by email. Please note that if you are accepted into the programme you will be required to bring 2 pieces of government issued identification (one containing a photo) and present them prior to or on the first day of class.
Designer Cakes Certficate & Bakery Essentials Certificate Applicants – This is a first come first serve program. Students are NOT considered registered until the college has received the completed registration package (including any supporting documents) AND if space is still available in the requested session date and time. You will be notified by email either confirming your spot OR to notify you if space is no longer available in the requested session.
5. Student Visa
If you require a visa, you are responsible for forwarding the letter of acceptance to the nearest Canadian Embassy to request the appropriate visa. A copy of the visa is must be on file at the school in order to start classes.
If the visa is refused, the school will issue a refund within 30 days of receipt of the original letter of refusal of visa from the Canadian Embassy.
6. Your application process is complete!
The remainder of the fees are payable on the first day of school and are listed on the enrolment contract.
