Gigi Wong

Graphic Design & Communications Coordinator

Gigi always had an appreciation for discovering different forms of art. She graduated from The School of Fashion at Ryerson University, and it was there, that she found her passion for digital art and design. As a freelance graphic and web designer, she worked for many local fashion designers in Toronto. It was at Bonnie Gordon College where she discovered another form of art that she fell in love with: the beauty and artistry of cake decorating.

Celeste Crevier

Administrative Assistant

Celeste Crevier worked in a bakery in Port Credit for many years before finally taking the leap to being accepted into the George Brown College Baking and Pastry Arts Program. While in Pastry School, Celeste participated and won many competitions including the Lindt Sprungli Chocolate Competition and The Bakers Journal Gingerbread Competition. After graduating with honours, Celeste has worked around Toronto at various bakeshops and restaurants; some including The Distillery Restaurant Corporation, Sweet Flour Bake Shop, and The Drake Hotel. She is currently expanding her horizons on the administrative side of things in hopes of opening her own bake shop. She is the owner and lead pastry chef for her website: www.chronicmasterbaker.com that takes a humourous spin to the how’s and why’s of baking.

Marlea Nesimiuk

Operations Coordinator

Marlea has worked in the field of marketing and administration for a company she co-owned, Pro X Exhibit, and enjoyed designing trade show booths with creativity and variety.  In 2011 Marlea attended the Bonnie Gordon College of Confectionary Arts.  Having had little experience before, yet having an art background, she found the medium thrilling and challenging.  She started her own small business, MarMar Sweet Treats, and began doing cakes and cupcakes for clients.  After completing her certificate she began working with a popular bakery, We Bake In Heels.  She also joined the college again, this time as a Teachers Assistant.  After managing We Bake In Heels for a year, Marlea began her next adventure, as operations coordinator at the college.  Her background in art, love of organization and dealing with people, has made this position rewarding with its many challenges.
